What do i wear to class?

We recommend that you wear something that you’re comfortable dancing in, that also allows you to stretch and have a wide range of mobility.

How early should i come for my class?

We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time of your class. Dance is a physical activity that requires the body to be warmed up in order to execute movement safely. Late students miss the proper warm-up and therefore may sustain an injury.

Does we need to attend classes regularly?

It is essential that classes are attended on a regular basis. If students frequently miss classes, it is difficult for them to catch up on what they may have missed and it is also difficult for other students to work around those who are missing. Dancing is a team sport like any other.

What if i'm not comfortable having myself filmed during my class?

If you’re uncomfortable being filmed during your class, please inform your teacher before the class begins so that we can reassure that you’re kept out of any footage that may be taken during the class.

How many people will be in the class?

The number of students in each class will be max 20 & varies for different dance style. This allows the teacher focus and to attend to the needs of every student. Classes will continue to run with any amount of people within the capacity of the designated room.

Can i take the class for the month & pay after?

No, fees to be paid in advance for respective month.

Can i film at the end of class?

If you’re interested in filming what you’ve learned at the end of your class, you must check in with your teacher to make sure that they’re comfortable with that. Sometimes our videographer will come to film a class (requested by the teacher). Those videos can often be found on our Instagram and social media pages.

I have a physical limitation that prevents me from being able to fully participate in the class, what should i do?

If you have concerns about any injuries or physical limitations that may prevent you from fully participating in the class, please let your teacher know at the beginning of class so they can help accommodate and encourage any modifications that you may need to make throughout the class. However, if you have an injury that you know about, you should use your own discretion, as we are not responsible for any further injury.

I have some experience, can I skip a beginners’ class?

We are happy to let you try a class so that we can asses your skills and help you determine which class is best for you. One of our teachers will help you determine which dance course level will be best suited to your knowledge and skills.

How long does it take to learn to dance?

This depends on each individual’s goals and level of commitment towards dance. We will work with you to help you reach your goals. Ultimately, it depends on you, but we are certain that after few months of training with us, you will be having more confidence to move and having fun on any dance floor.

Does everyone perform in the recital?

Yes. Most of our classes do participate in recital. But its completely upto the individual to participate. It's not compulsory but we recommend all participants to take part so that they gain experience performing live on stage.

Is there a fee for recital?

The only fee for the dancer is the cost of the costumes, makeup, photos & videos. Each student will get 2 passes for their family to watch the recital. If required, additional tickets has to be purchased either online or offline. The studio will notify everyone when the tickets are available for purchase.

Do we need to pay fees even if we take break for a month or two during summer?

Yes. We are a system which needs to be run and managed through out the year. There is no summer vacation or break for the studio. We run throughout the year except on few major holidays.

We take limited students per batch & during this process we will have staff, rental and other expenses to be managed on a monthly basis so to keep the system on & reserve your slot, fees are needed.

If you are taking break for a medical treatment, we can consider as a exemption.
